Our Founding Story

Established in 2020, the Multifamily Mason team is a real estate brokerage team passionate about serving investors in markets we love and call home. We represent buyers, sellers, developers, and landowners in their multifamily needs, working as an advisor by providing research, insights, and reports that communicate the full investment story to thousands of clients and prospects. 

In under 2 years, we have built the most recognized and #1 multifamily brokerage business in the inland northwest, through a focused effort on quality, client service, and excellent marketing including our famous monthly newsletter, construction reports, and expert deal packages.

As of 2023, we have closed $105M in multifamily deals in under 3 years, totaling 796 units across 31 deals. These are career-long numbers for many brokers.


Our hyperspecialization, client focus, and data-driven approach have set us apart in the market and enabled us to spin our flywheel faster than any other brokers or brokerage team in the market. 

From Mason:

My history is in sales and marketing at a large corporate company (Unilever) where I worked for 4 years before making the leap into entrepreneurship. During that time, I pursued real estate investing, learning about all things commercial real estate, developing a deep knowledge of multifamily, which is what led me to the specialty in multifamily. Just like most of our team, I am a self-taught real estateur, learning by doing, studying, and absorbing every piece of information possible in the world of real estate. 

I took the leap from my comfortable corporate job in 2020 when I had my firstborn 3-month-old daughter at home, had just moved to the Tri-Cities from San Francisco with my wife, and had my first mortgage on a new house - a lot of family and life to provide for!  I like to think that my back was against the wall and I had no choice but to put everything I had into launching and scaling this business.

One of the most impactful things I did for the business early on was hire a brokerage business coach, The Massimo Group. They have equipped me with the tools, skillset, and expertise to stand out in the marketplace. Hiring them was our shortcut, and compressed our growth timeline significantly.

At the end of the day, I absolutely love anything to do with multifamily real estate and want to be the best at our craft in the Inland Northwest, and really in any market. I’m excited to be building this team, serving our clients daily.
